HOST YOUR OWN DINNER TO SUPPORT EPILEPSY:  Join us the weekend of November 13-15 to help spread the word and raise money for epilepsy.

In celebration of Epilepsy Awareness Month, the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida is inviting its supporters to host a dinner for your friends, families and colleagues.  Your guests will learn more about epilepsy and you will raise funds to support the work of the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida.

WHAT: 
You organize and host your own dinner for Epilepsy.  Choose a theme: a sit-down dinner, backyard BBQ, cocktail hour – anything you’d like!  Then invite all your friends, colleagues and family.

WHERE:
Your home or anywhere you choose

WHEN:
We encourage you to hold your event during the weekend of November 13, 14 and 15.  However, you can hold your event at any time in November that is most convenient for you and your guests.

WHY:
TO RAISE MONEY & AWARENESS OF EPILEPSY!
You will raise awareness about epilepsy by showing your guests a short, informative DVD which we will supply.
 
HOW:
Organize your dinner or event and invite your guests.  Simply decide the suggested donation you’ll ask of your attendees, with all money raised from your dinner going to the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida.  You can decide to ask for a specific amount from each guest or let guests make a donation amount of their choice.  (Many people will just leave a small basket by the door, pass a hat, or put a nice gift-wrapped box somewhere at the party to collect the donations.)
